Markus Hofer

Markus Hofer is a mechanical engineer by training and hold a PhD in process engineering. Having worked for more than 35 years in various industry sectors his main interest is in industrialization and scale-up of promising new technologies and business approaches. Within Bühler Markus held various responsibilities including R&D, global P&L responsibilities for two Business Areas, strategic technology development and strategy and business development for the Advanced Materials Business. This role includes also working with start-up companies, technology insourcing and M&A projects. Markus is a member of the Empa Industrial advisory board and a board member of Rhysearch.
